At around 3pm, we are now ready to say goodbye to this wonderful island. We will be heading back to Kalibo to spend the night there with my mother’s relatives.

The travel from Caticlan to Kalibo is just a short one. Upon your arrival at the port of Caticlan there are public vans that you could hop on to bring you directly to Kalibo. Fare is 100php. (We were even mistaken as heading to the Kalibo airport by the dispatcher, and we paid 175php). Luckily we were refunded upon or arrival at Kalibo.

The entire day was spend strolling along Aklan’s Capital.
