Finding Happiness by Giving It Away

If there’s one thing in this world that may be received by giving – it is happiness.

As put forth by the Second Splendid Truth: One of the best ways to make yourself happy is to make other people happy; and One of the best ways to make other people happy is to be happy yourself.

Yes I am a firm believer of this, and I hope you are too. As such, I’d like to offer this section of my blog to make myself happy – by making you happy.

A lot of my friends say that one of the qualities they like about me is my ability to make them laugh. No matter how corny or not my jokes are (which most of the times are :D), the thought that these bring forth a smile to other people’s faces is enough to make me smile as well.

And since it is always best to spread happiness more than anything else, I’d be glad to share my “humoroj” side to you through this blog. Here, I’ll be posting jokes of all kinds – corny or not, green, blue, red, yellow, black or white, original or something told by a friend, encountered on my day to day living. And to make it more complete, I’ll also be adding inspirational stories that hopefully will leave a smile not just on your face, but also on your heart. 🙂

When I was in grade school, they told me to write down what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I wrote down happy.
They told me I didn’t understand the assignment,
I told them they didn’t understand life

  1. This is great! Once you get past the idea that materialistic happiness isn’t even close to that deep feeling of real joy some people are lucky enough to experience, the materialistic kind just doesn’t compare! 🙂 It’s the happiness that just radiates out of you and puts a smile on your face that you can’t get rid of. That’s the kind of happiness worth pursuing!

And I completely agree that a great way to become happy is to try your hardest to make others happy 🙂
